Direct insurance billing is available for patients insured with KFA.

• KFA Policyholders: We bill directly to your insurance provider.
• All Other Insurers (ÖGK, BVAEB, SVS & Private Insurance): Services are provided on a private consultation fee basis. Following your treatment, you will receive a detailed itemised invoice (Honorarnote).

Transparent Payment: You settle the invoice directly at our practice following your consultation and subsequently submit it to your public health provider or private insurer. Depending on your provider, a substantial portion of the cost is reimbursed.Upon request, we are happy to assist you with submitting your claims for reimbursement.

Payment methods: You can settle your invoice directly at our clinic with credit card, debit card, in cash or via bank transfer.

Automatic Claim Submission: We take care of the paperwork for you. Following your appointment, we submit the invoice directly to your health insurer. You do not need to complete any forms, and your reimbursement will be paid directly into your bank account.

Public Health Insurance: As a rule, public health insurers reimburse 80% of the official statutory tariff. This applies provided you have not visited another specialist in internal medicine within the same quarter (for ÖGK) or month (for other public insurers). We prepare your invoice strictly in line with official fee codes to ensure you receive the maximum possible reimbursement.

Private Health Insurance: Depending on your chosen policy, private supplementary health insurance often covers up to 100% of the costs.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance, in person, by phone, or by email. This gives us the opportunity to reassign the time slot to another patients in need.

Please understand that for missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, a charge of 50% of the reserved service fee will apply.
